During this past Memorial Day weekend around 3 PM, I was out and about when my main rear brake line burst. Fortunately, I was in a parking lot. I was not exactly far from home but neither close. I called almost every family member I could think of not out of town for the Holiday. Next, I needed to call a towing company but did not have the phone number. I proceeded to call Kamphaus to get the number of the towing company they contract with and Jess answered. We conversed a bit and Jess volunteered to call the towing company. Jess relayed information back to us saying the towing company would be there in about an hour. An hour passed and since we did not have the phone number of the towing company, we called Jess back to find out if she knew anything. She responded saying let me call them back to find out what is happening, at this time we asked for the towing company’s phone number. Jess called us back and said the wrecker that was on its way had mechanical problems. At this time, it was well past their business hours and Jess volunteered to stay there until we were on our way home. We had to beg her not to ruin the rest of her Saturday as it was nearing 5 PM. Eventually, she reluctantly agreed to leave and go home to do whatever Jess does on a nice Saturday. I can genuinely say Jess put the meaning back in customer service! I know of no other auto repair business or individual would do what she did. It was completely unexpected and phenomenal. I highly commend Jess and Kamphaus Auto. In addition, once again the service Matt and team performed on my 21-year-old vehicle was quick and top notch. With this and only two other previous repairs, I can genuinely say they earned my future business.
