Kamphaus is among the friendliest, most transparent repair shops with whom I've ever done business. They've always notified us when repairs go long, explain exactly why, and even let us come into the repair bay to see for ourselves. I'm no mechanic, but mechanically inclined, and they've treated both myself and my wife like we're not idiots. We've reached the level of "regular" customers such that they know us when we come in and know which one of us drives which car. I've always felt valued and respected, and never a hint that they're hiding something nor trying to "get one over" on us. On more than one occasion, I've looked up the factory recommendations before going in only to have them suggest exactly that when there's been a choice. In my experience, they've earned my repeat business and my respect.
